We went here for our 10th anniversary with some very dear friends. Not sure I've had a more enjoyable evening. We started with the appetizer of house-cured meats...boar, duck, venison and beef (I think), sliced razor-thin, just slightly salty, creamy marbling, and pure perfection. My wife had lobster. What could go wrong? Are you tired of house-made pastas being gummy and starchy? Not here... house-made pastas are light and snappy, with just the right sauces in the right amounts. I believe there's a reason that there're not even salt and pepper on the tables...They're not needed...Franco's cooking is flawless, and the food a finished product when it hits the table. Steak and veal porterhouse were superb and nicely marbled. They served a fall vegetable soup (on the house) that made me just want to dunk my face into the bowl. Personable and knowledgeable waiter made the evening even better. Franco and Marcella are just delightful, with Franco singing my wife's favorite opera at our table. I travel the country for a living. I spend about a quarter of my life in restaurants, and don't think I've had more all-round good food, atmosphere and hospitality. Well, at least in the top five. It ain't cheap, but allow yourself this indulgence! — Anonymous Reviewer
