Ate here on the evening of 7/10/2025. Restaurant is very clean and beautiful inside. For two entrees and drinks, our bill came out to be just under $50.00. No refills on drinks. The food was good and obviously prepared fresh, but they were small portion sizes. If you are used to takeout from Martin's or Eastern's / China Wok, etc., you would agree that the portions are about 3/4th of what you get at the other places. I think it is worth seeing what the prices and serving size is on the lunch combo before deciding to not go back here again. At $50.00 for two people and no drink refills, I did not feel that it was worth it. — Anonymous Reviewer

We have had their food several times now (General Tso's chicken, Mongolian beef, Broccoli and chicken) and have been very satisfied with it . The portions run a little on the small side (we order from the Dinner menu not lunch) especially the plain white rice, it comes in a tiny container . The price is fair for the value especially since it is delicious food — Anonymous Reviewer

If I could - I would rate the food 4 stars - and the service two stars. Considering that the restaurant has only been open for a week - I believe it has promise - just some kinks that need to be worked out.

The atmosphere was quite inviting - they have done a nice job transforming this space. The menu is a bit overwhelming- many many options (as is typical with lower end Asian restaurants). There were limited to no menu descriptions and the servers were not able to answer all questions regarding the menu.

Service was very slow. The young man that waited on us wore AirPods - maybe I'm old school but that bothers me. We had a party of 4 - food was brought out one entree at a time. Again - maybe I'm old school but in our family we don't eat until everybody has their plates. We probably waited 10-15 minutes before all in the party were served - and by then food for others was lukewarm at best. Drinks were not refilled without asking.

The positives? The food was good - obviously freshly prepared. It was not one of those Asian restaurants that has 200 menu items and it all tastes the same. Prices were very reasonable. We had a combination of apps, Bento boxes and entrees. I wish I had taken pictures....but alas did not.

I presume we will be back - maybe even for takeout. I hope the owners find this review useful in working out the kinks. The restaurant definitely has a spark that just needs nurturing.

We just had takeout from Uncle Chen’s after seeing a review on Facebook and our meal was amazing!

We had the Kung Pao Chicken Bento, the Genera Tso’s Bento and the Golden Dreamer Roll. Every bite was delicious! The Miso is the best around! Everything was packaged nicely so it arrived at home still steaming hot! We have found our new spot! Can’t wait to dine in!

Went today, June 8, for the soft opening. Don’t get me wrong—I understand that with a new opening, there are bound to be some issues, but we were totally dissatisfied with the service and food. It took forever to get our meal. We couldn’t order off the lunch menu, and there was no fried rice or iced tea.

My combination fried rice (yes, they said they couldn’t give my husband fried rice, but they gave it to me) was horrible. The chicken was dry, I couldn’t even recognize what the pork was, and there was no flavor. It took forever to get our food, and we were the first customers in the place.

A bit expensive as well. Not sure we’ll go back—there’s a better little place closer to us.
