OMG!!!! So when we looked over the menu we thought the prices were a little high, but after getting our food, I absolutely understand their prices. We will always pay more for quality food and the Railway Cafe did not disappoint!!! We both ordered chicken sandwiches on biscuits and when she placed our food in front of us, I was shocked as to how much food was on our plates. The chicken was cooked to perfection, the potatoes were nice and crispy on the outside, but soft on the inside and let’s talk about the biscuit….. oh my gosh it was DELICIOUS. I had breakfast here about 2 months ago and it was delicious! I recently returned to try their lunch. I had the chicken pot pie and was really disappointed. The pot pie was very bland. The sauce in it was a plain white sauce that was rather pasty. If they started with a roux, the flour hadn't been cooked enough. There was no hint of chicken stock or any herbs/seasoning for flavor. To top it off, the carrots were under-cooked and still crunchy. Other lunch meals I saw being delivered looked good, so I will try the cafe again for lunch, but I do not recommend the chicken pot pie. I'll definitely return for breakfast. — Anonymous Reviewer

Omg!! We found this gem by accident and let me tell you it was phenomenal. I had some of the best soup ever and my husband had the Shepherds pie special. It was insanely delicious. The entire staff and chef were amazing. So cordial and polite; the atmosphere was and decor were amazing. I have eaten at The Railway Cafe twice now. I had sausage gravy and biscuits for breakfast and a chicken sandwich for lunch. Both of these items were delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant for food quality and service. — Anonymous Reviewer

We decided to try this place for early breakfast and the decor is lovely and place is clean. Server was very nice. Our only concern was there was not enough to offer for breakfast. Not your typical down to earth offerings and also a little on the pricey end. The place is for a good cause and that is great but I think that maybe they are trying to be a bit too fancy on their menu items. We spent close to 50.00 just for a breakfast. Most likely lunch menu has more offerings. I think that this is a place for a special occasion and not a typical place to go on a regular basis. Like the fact they have a dedicated parking lot that is clean and secure and a lot of outside seating as well. — Anonymous Reviewer
