Let's start with positive...service was good and the restaurant was bright and clean. The food I am afraid was mediocre. Our teriyaki chicken was so rubbery and tough it was hard to chew. Potato pancakes were good. Ordered a cheesecake dessert that came out like a whipped cream dessert and was hot as did the pecan pie. Who eats cheesecake hot?? Have been to Perkins for a while. Service is still poor, coffee is really bad. Next time someone ask me to meet them at Perkin's for a luncheon meeting, I will say no way. Or, I will have a soda instead of the coffee. The food is fair, but the service is poor. — Anonymous Reviewer

I have never seen a Restaurant with such poor service. The food value is great, that' why people go there. Some of the newer servers seem like they are there to serve you, where as older servers act like they are doing you a favor to wait on you. I have been to Bob Evans across the street and the service is great. The price is higher at Bob Evans, however price is not always as important as good service!!!!! — Anonymous Reviewer

Perkins Family Restaurant has greatly improved their service, in my opinion, and their food preparation is very good. They have extended their '50%-off Senior Special' on Monday nights through March 1. The discount applies to all regular menu items. I've always found Perkins to be mediocre in both food and service. The best thing about it is half-price to seniors on Mondays after 5:00. but now their sign says that's going to end in December so I probably won't go there much after that. — Anonymous Reviewer
