We were very disappointed with this restaurant. We had high hopes with the positive reviews we had seen, but we did not enjoy this place. The food was not very good and the service was bad. We can definitely get much better Italian food at Donato's or Umberto's and some other places as well. We will be sticking with those places and not go back to Mamma Angelina's. — Anonymous Reviewer

We went to this place on 6/12/2012 with a coupon for Buy 1 Entree at regular menu price Get 2nd Entree of equal or lesser value FREE. Well when I went to pay I was told what I had to eat didn't qualify as an entree. WHAT? That's right the only thing I had to eat was a 10 oz Texas Cheeseburger at $8.99. My wife had the eggplant parmesan at $13.99. I was told that my meal was not an entree'! Now keep in mind no where on the menu is the word entree mentioned! Definition of ENTREE that I took from Webster: The main course of a meal in the United States See entree defined for English-language learners » See entree defined for kids » My Texas Cheeseburger was the only thing I ate as my meal. It was my main course! So I got screwed out of using the coupon but I am going to post the way I was treated by this place everywhere I can on the internet. And to add insult to injury I specifically requested barbecue sauce on the Cheeseburger and it came without it. I sat at the table for 10 minutes attempting to get the attention of the waitress who was interested in other things at the counter. I finally had to get up and request it before eating. We have been to Mamma Angelina's twice now. We were hoping for good things from this place as it is close to where we live, but sadly we have been disappointed. Both times the pizza was not good. We had the lasagna as well and the portion was small and not very good. the salalds were ok, but not great. The garlic bread was good. The service wasn't very good either time as well. We can definitely get better Italian food at other restaurants in the area. We won't be back — Anonymous Reviewer

Great home made Italian style food. I really enjoyed it and promised I will be back. They make most everything from scratch. — Anonymous Reviewer

I know I'm going to be very unpopular here but we will not be going back to Mama Angelina's. We were there a few weeks ago because I had heard great things. It was a Saturday around 4. We were the only people there for a little while. It was not good. We ordered and waited an hour before the nice waitress told us the chef had an emergency and had to leave. When we got our shrimp scampi and a chicken and pasta dish it was not good. The pasta was mush and my shrimp was so hard. Neither of us ate even a quarter of our food. We told the waitress. She apologized but no substitution was offered, no coupon, no discount, nothing. And whoever was cooking kept screaming at the waitress. I admire them for trying to stay open that evening, which was the only reason I gave them one star. I'm sorry, we won't be back. — Anonymous Reviewer

Tonight, we got home late and decided to go Mamma's for takeout. The eggplant parm on spaghetti was very good. The bread also seemed homemade, freshly baked. See you again soon Mamma! — Anonymous Reviewer

I had pizza yesterday. It was very good. Slightly overcooked but good. The people are friendly. The interior looks very nice. And by the way, you don't have to be from NY to know what good thin crust pizza is. I am so sick of people saying "I am from NY and I know what good pizza is". BFD. I will be back to Mamma's! — Anonymous Reviewer
