HORRIBLE food, service and not clean. I would not recommend this to my worst enemy. — Anonymous Reviewer

I really wouldn't have even given this place a star if one hadn't been required. Worst food and service in the Valley. — Anonymous Reviewer

I was excited about eating here since a co-worker had recommended it. The food was luke-warm at best, no flavor, and anthing that was breaded had no food in the middle--no chicken, no nothing. The lomein was just noodles, no veggies or meat. I didn't even finish one plate of food at this buffet. It doesn't matter if it is free--I will never eat here again or recommend it to anyone. Trust me! It was horrible! I pray that I don't get sick. — Anonymous Reviewer

Hibachi Grill is worth a visit. My family, friends and I have had lunch or dinner there several times and each time the food was good. The wait staff were attentive, the food was hot and fresh. Its not the quietest atmosphere; but its more comfortable than other large buffet places I've been to. If you are a sushi fan (I am) you can't beat their sushi for the price AND you can get other food with it (included in the price). Sushi is on the buffet; yet its kept chilled, right near where its prepared, and you can ask for a particular selection and watch as they make it for you if you like. I've had a better sushi, but it was tripple the price. Our Chinese relative (who was here over the holidays for a visit) even liked the food there. If you are looking for an up-scale, quiet, dining "experience", you need to look elsewhere. If you want good food, plenty of it, with variety and at a reasonable price - Hibachi Grill is worth trying. — Anonymous Reviewer

For several months, I had heard a mix of reviews from close friends about this restaurant. Finally, with some extra Christmas cash, I decided to take the family. I wish now I had chosen another location. The food was bland and unexciting. The decor was laking and the bathrooms were dirty. There was no privacy or atmosphere whatsoever. It felt like a Chinese Golden Corral. It felt unclean. For example, everyone used the same ice cream scoop instead of getting your ice cream from a machine. Most importantly, the waitstaff / management were horrible. Like so many, I too received a coupon for my meal. Since I was travelling back from Christmas vacation, I uploaded the coupon to my phone. Upon entering the restaurant, I showed the coupon to the host. I again, showed the coupon to my waitress. During my meal, my phone died. The restaurant would not honor my coupon. They told me that I should recharge my phone the next time I come in. The discount would have only been $5 off my bill. It was not a big deal for me to simply pay the amount. But it is the principle of the matter. I found it very rude that they did not honor the coupon especially after showing it to two employees. Enjoy the $5. It will be the last dollar I spend there. I encourage everyone else to seek another restaurant. As a pastor, I attempt to be very fair when dealing with another. I strive to speak honestly about the service and food. I have to live with my conscience. That said, I would encourage all to avoid this restaurant. — Anonymous Reviewer

I tried this place last week and it was definitely quantity over quality. I tried the buffet and the sesame chicken on the steam table was ice cold. I guess it had just come out of the fridge. It would seem like they could take the trouble to warm it up. Nothing to right home about. Going back to Chinatown across the street. — Anonymous Reviewer

My family and I have eaten at the Hibachi Grill several times. The prices are very good and there is a large selection of food. That said we will not be going back. Each time we've eaten there my son and I have gotten sick. The people who referred us to the restaurant are no longer eating there either because of health issues. This is a shame because the food is fairly good and it's an inexpensive place to take a family for dinner. — Anonymous Reviewer

I have given this place good reviews in the past but today was the last day I will ever go here again. There were help wanted signs on the wall when I walked in the door. Got seated, went up for sushi. It was fine. Went back up for a rib and some green beans and after one bite, I was done. I always used to save room for a little bit of ice cream. Well, I saw two different kids, on two different occasions, serving themselves using a spoon, scooting the ice cream into their dish with their fingers, licking their fingers, and putting their spoon back into the ice cream bin to get some more. I told management and they said, yes, they had gotten complaints and that they had a sign over there telling people no children without an adult. I told them that their sign wasn't doing any good. I am sad to say that what started out as a really great place to go, even though it was a buffet, has gone to the dogs. — Anonymous Reviewer

To those bashing the place and asking for health department investigations...I'd bet you work for the competition that is losing out. To be honest, Hibachi offers the best "bang for your buck". I've never, ever had a problem with the food, the sushi selection is usually very nice (except for the occasional off night), and I feel more than satisfied every time I eat there. Is it Sansui in terms of the quality? No. However, I find their food to be very tasty and it exceeds the quality expected for such a low price. It's not often you get good quality for a low price, and have such a wide selection that includes non-Asian foods for those who crave something different. I hope this facility continues to succeed as much in the future as it has thus far. — Anonymous Reviewer

I predict it will be going out of business soon because so many people I know including myself got sick after eating there. The health department seriously need to check out this place and see what the hell are they doing in the kitchen. The shrimps had no taste and was very mushy. The different meat dishes were tough. Sure it's cheap eating there but no price is worth getting sick. Avoid!!! — Anonymous Reviewer
