On Saturday, June 30, 2012 I had lunch at Camino Real, the Mexican Restaurant at 928 Berryville Avenue. It had been completely remodeled following a fire earlier in the year.
One difference in the floor plan was the addition of a small bar on the left side of the dining area. I was seated in a booth a little back from the front of the place, and didn't take time to explore further.
The lunch menu was two pages; here are its main listings: Lunch Combinations, House Specials, Beef Dishes, Seafood Dishes, Chicken Dishes, and Seafood Dishes. I chose a Beef Burrito from the Lunch Combinations, and ordered a Mr. PiBB for my beverage.
While I was waiting for the kitchen to do its thing, I asked to see the dinner menu. It had four pages with these main listings: Appetizers, Chicken Fajita, Mariscos/Seafood Dishes, Pollo/Chicken Dishes, Puerco/Pork Dishes, and Carne/Meat Dishes.
Also, Special Burritos, Regular Burritos, Las Enchiladas, Los Burritos, Side Dishes, Soup, American Dishes, Children's Dishes, Barbecued Ribs, Desserts, and Beverages. The back page included certain Special Dishes.
I was pleased with my lunch; the food was as good before the fire. Incidentally, Berryville also has a Camino Real at 16 Crow Street. Camino Real can be translated from Spanish as Royal Road
