Turtle Butter and Rolls, the turtle crew (Laura, Callie, and Melissa) and the patio (late night smoking option) make Brewbakers one of the best spots in Winchester. Great atmosphere. Better staff! — Eat540

I love this place. Great times and memories. Quintessential Old Town. If you haven't, you've gotta get addicted to turtle butter and rolls. Another great thing about this place is the gathering/party rooms...you can host 10-200 people. Great food, great service, great time! —

Brewbakers Restaurant, I met my beautiful bride at this wonderful downtown eatery. "It is more than a place to grab a good meal" It is a "Winchester tradition" that has seen laughter, life and the most important love. For over a hundred years that building has been a gathering spot for families "mine included" since the early seventies. I hope my wife and I can be like the Pennsylvania couple that were in their late eighties. They came every year to celebrate the day they got married in Winchester in the early Forties. I would like to thank Brewbakers for the continued memories and of course the shrimp bisque. — Anonymous Reviewer

Been here a half dozen times over the last couple years. Every time I go i wonder more and more how this place remains open and popular. Food is greasy standard bar food. Nothing special or really that good. The fridge behind the bar is cool, but other than that this place is just bleh . . . — cjd0307

I used to love this place. But the addition of the new back area has attracted a pretty undesirable crowd. The kind of people that show up here on the weekends now are pretty out of control. Not to mention the constant arguments and fights. I hate to say it since I've come here for years, but I'd rather hit the Brew Pub. — Anonymous Reviewer

I've eaten here twice with colleagues and both times the food and service were outstanding. The only downside is that they aren't open on Mondays. — Anonymous Reviewer

Busy Friday night at Brewbakers; however, we were seated fairly quickly and our server was attentive to our table. I had the Downtown Burger and asked to have jalapenos included. This extra topping really makes the burger. Since the menu says the burger has "everything" on it, I think the jalapeno should be standard. Nonetheless, I was very satisfied with the burger. The side of fries were kind of plain, seasoned fries or a side of malted vinegar would have made them better. My kids had the chicken finger meal and I was shocked at how good the chicken fingers turned out; however, my son was not a fan of the thick breading. Overall, this was a nice surprise for my first visit to this establishment. I can see going back w/o the kids next time. — Anonymous Reviewer

Stopped by Brewbakers for outdoor dinner and had the wonderful jerk chicken nachos. They were superb and perfect to share for a light meal.

I only wish Brewbakers had sweet iced tea... then they would be absolutely perfect!

The one thing about Brewbakers that stands out is their people. Great service! Their food is no more than average. Their bar itself is too small.

You don't get the usual Winchester white trash "I am doing you a favor by waiting on you attitude" that seems to be evident at many restaurants.

This is the best place for lunch on the downtown mall. In my opinion they have the best burgers in town. My favorite is the Brewbaker's Burger. I really like the wings here as well, but really everything I have ever ordered here has been good. The service has always been prompt and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. — Anonymous Reviewer

The staff was exceptionally nice, and the food I'll post another day after a few more visits. But here's the fly in the ointment for me. The beer. Yeah..the beer. A few really quality brews are served here, but are served so cold they gave me brain freeze. The problem with this is that the Slurpee-like temp renders good beer flavorless. Some good munchies here, but if you love quality beer at PROPER temperatures, stick with Union Jack. I still love Brubakers, and will be back, but hope they tweek this flaw. — Anonymous Reviewer

One of the BEST burgers in all of Winchester. Consistently. Great atmosphere. — Anonymous Reviewer
