There haven't been any reviews of Bob Evans in a while so I thought I'd do one.
Bob Evans has gone through a LOT of managers in the last couple of years. Lots of changes have been made to both the exterior and interior. Some good changes, some bad changes.
All of the landscaping was changed so it is much more visible.
The interior was changed so that you can't see any tables/booths when you enter. Also, all of the local decorations were removed so the place is very 'sterile' I miss the local historic photos.
The cashier's station is often left unattended with a sign asking people to pay at the bakery counter, which is manned by whatever server happens to be nearby.
A bakery has been added. Prices there are MUCH too high and stuff is often marked down to 50% off but is still too expensive. Who wants to pay that much for a cookie?
The food is still mostly prepared from frozen stuff so it is predictable. Usually, it is pretty good.
The staffing is hit and miss. There is one 'host' who never smiles and acts like he HATES his job. Ugh!
Most of the servers are ok -- some friendly, some not so friendly.
Travelers probably like Bob Evans because the food is predictable. Locals -- not so much. I'm a local.— Anonymous Reviewer

What can I say about Bob Evans???
Well, whenever we can't decide where we wanna eat, we almost always end up at Bob Evans!
There is something for everyone on the menu--whether you want breakfast, a sandwich, soup, salad, or a full dinner. Prices are reasonable--they have a child's menu and a special reduced-prices page for seniors.
The food is always prepared correctly and quickly and the wait-staff is experienced and courteous--even though some are students from local high schools and colleges.
