This place is ok. Until recently, it was the last refuge of the smokers in town, making it the smokiest joint around. Most of the staff seems more interested in jamming drinks down peoples' throats than serving food or otherwise taking care of their customers. Our favorite server Bryan is gone, so I'm left with the rest of the freshly turned-over staff, seems to happen every 6 months or so. The food is ok, inconsistent at best. I hate having to figure out if its a good or a bad night to eat by having to know who is cooking. Best options are the sandwiches, its hard to screw up a club. Some of the other items seem pretentious for a pool hall to offer, know what your audience is. Guess the place is better than Action or Family Billiards, they don't serve food. — Anonymous Reviewer

It is just nice to have a pool hall-type bar in Winchester. A place where people can smoke, play pool, listen to live music, and have a decent drink. Our waitress was really cool, and let us know that now Blue Fox is staying open till 4 am to serve food and breakfast to those who may be too tipsy to drive home after the bar area closes at 2 am. That is smart business, in my opinion, and is considerate of the safety of others on the road. Their food isn't the greatest, but it isn't bad either. Drinks are mixed well. — Anonymous Reviewer

This place isn't as bad as everyone makes it out. We've been here several times and the place is the nicest place to play pool in Winchester. Brian was our server the last two times we were there and he is great, always making a joke or two and conversing with us. The food is pretty good for being a pool hall, although specials sometimes are little too often chicken. While pool time can be a little high, there are still really nice tables that are well taken care of. Our biggest complaint is the smoking. Although it is still legal, it can get a little overwhelming at times. — Anonymous Reviewer

My wife and I have been here twice. The first time we went in and were about the only people there. We got a seat right away and that is where it ended. We were seated near where the wait staff enter the kitchen. They kept walking past us and no one ever waited on us. After about 20 minutes of being amused by the fact that no one would stop and wait on us we finally got up and left. We found it funny when the girl that seated us said "Have a great day... hope everything was good."  By far the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. The second time we went (just out of curiosity) we actually got waited on. The food is marginal at best and very expensive. Not the place to go for food. — Anonymous Reviewer

This place is a smoky dump. There is no ventilation what so ever and it seems like every other Bubba in there is either smoking or spitting dip on the floor. The food is terrible and it is ungodly over priced. For two people to play pool for an hour you are looking at over 20 dollars!!! Yikes! Not only that but the staff are very very rude. Basically you are either one of the local yokels or your treated like those four guys from the movie deliverance. I have never seen such poor service and high prices from such a mediocre restaurant as the "Blue Fox' — Anonymous Reviewer

I must say I was at Blue Fox last night, I wasnt happy at all, you pay top dollar for drinks and have to wait forever for service. Its bad when there is only 10 people at the bar and you have to wait 10 min to get a drink..Wouldn't suggest this place to anyone — Anonymous Reviewer

I spent this past Sat night at Bluefox,I went to see a friends band and was floored to see how cool that place is.It has all the local main stream bands listed for upcoming events.They had awesome drink specials and the food was not the typical bar food,it was really good.Bet the farm I be back. — Anonymous Reviewer
